Taken right from the Bible, these words are ones that every Christian parent should know to help with parenting. You can use them as a guide to keep on track.
Raising Christian kids is an exciting and rewarding adventure. There is a real goal and purpose that goes beyond teaching the values of how to live and treat others, but that there is a whole eternity waiting for them. In the process, there is some language that the Bible uses to give us keys to making parenting a serious, loving, and involved task.
While some of the words below are uplifting and encouarging, there are also some that remind us of things we want our children to avoid. Some words are actions we want our children to portray, while others are things we as parents can do to keep our children safe and happy. The words are taken from the New International Version.
Since these words are not all-inclusive of Christian parenting, it is hoped that they will begin a surge in you to think of others that would also help in raising a Christian child.
